Just as if we were in class, I would like you to have a discussion about the story we read today, Somebody's Fool. As you discuss, think about what the theme of this story is. I'm looking for an interesting back and forth discussion, not a series of 30 stand-alone mini-essays. Because we do not have class until Monday, February 18th, you have until the 17th to participate at least once. But remember, if I'm evaluating good discussion skills, coming in at the last minute and typing something just to get it done probably isn't going to impress me much. I may pop back in if I have something more to contribute, something I need to remind you, or if I feel the conversation needs some help. But, I believe in you all, and I'm excited to see how the discussion evolves over the week. Happy chatting!

I agree with Ivorye. She is like every teenage girl; obsessed with one guy. Haha.

Yeah, Cheryl should have talked to K. C. face to face, not just believing the notes that she got in her locker. That was just setting herself up for disappointment because she didn't know if the notes were from him or if they were fake.

If I was in the same situation as Cheryl, I'd probably probably do what she did.

I agree with Alysha.. If he is the "popular guy" and you were kindof an outsider don't you think it would be alittle suspicious..?

I also agree with all of the above and being in school will be a lot different then in the real world once you graduate. Popularity won`t really exist and it`s good that Cheryl did not let that bring her down.

Ya I agree. As long as you hold your head high and don"t care about what others think, nothing can bring you down. And that's what Cheryl did.
